Manjusha Joseph-Sunil - Programme Head
Manjusha Joseph-Sunil joined the Science Communication Unit as the Head of the PUB programme in 2008. She has a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of the Free State (UFS) and worked as a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Microbial, Biochemical and Food Biotechnology at UFS for a period of 3 and a half years before joining SAASTA. Her interests include science communication and particularly agricultural biotechnology.
Dora Nare Ngoepe - Project Officer
Dora Nare Ngoepe joined the Science Communication Unit as the Project Officer of the PUB programme in May 2015. She has a Master's degree in Biotechnology from University of Pretoria (UP). Nare was part of the Professional Development Programme (PDP) at the Agricultural Research Council from 2011 until she joined SAASTA. Her interests include molecular genetics, genomics, bioinformatics and agricultural biotechnology.
Young Science Communicators Writing Initiative:
In an initiative to offer a platform to exercise skills in science communication, PUB commissioned a group of young scientists to write popular articles on various topics relating to biotechnology applications.
