Role Model Campaign
PUB is building up a list of "role models" to highlight the types of careers (link to careers exhibit) available in biotechnology. As needs arise, PUB is identifying suitable individuals from all biotechnology disciplines around the country to facilitate and present at public events and exhibits.
In addition to profiling specific careers in biotechnology and how/why they do what they do, the role models are also being used to communicate the research they are working on and how this is contributing to the development of South Africa.
If you are a dynamic individual working or undertaking research in a biotechnology related field, and can communicate in an easy-to-understand, fun and educational way to a variety of audiences, we would like to hear from you.
